Il corso analizza l’uso dei dati per la gestione e l’ottimizzazione delle Smart City, trattando monitoraggio, early warning, decarbonizzazione e supporto decisionale. Fornisce una panoramica su dashboard, logiche di processo, AI e deep learning per analisi predittive, interoperabilità dei dati e architetture scalabili, integrando strumenti come Node-RED, ETL/ELT e business intelligence.
To understand the aspects of data driven Smart City for operation and plan management.
The aim is monitoring, early warning, but also degongestion, decarbonization, accessibility, reduction of critical conditions, what-if analysis, and decision support systems.
The course will allow the student to use the platform and solution, to create data ingestion flows from IoT and gateways and other sources, to create dashboards for monitoring, and also to customize the solution, and install it on their premise.
Training programme:
1) overview for users, developers and researchers
2) dashboard production, from simple to business intelligence tools
3) process logic, server side business logic, node-red, ETL/ELT (JavaScript). Server Side Business Logic.
4) data analytics, usage of AI, XAI, clustering, Deep Learning, for predictions, early warning, optimization (Python when needed to add new features). usage of solutions and possibilities.
5) data ingestion and interoperability (Node-RED), smart data model, data spaces
6) platform architecture, modularity, scalability, reporting, etc.
7) exploiting Smart City API, federation of smart cities, SDK
8) development life cycle methodology and guideline, client side business logic for business intelligence tools.

Requirements to join the course:
Knowledge of the basic concepts of smart city, small knowledge of programming. For deep customisation of the platform and for researchers interested to develop AI tools and customize the platform additional courses can be provided.

A certificate is provided for presence, while for proficiency certificate an exam is foreseen, touching the different parts of the course, and thus one would receive the certificate for the passed parts/skills.
